How it all began
Power of Women Exchange is a company of professional women, dedicated to providing the tools necessary to help other women make the changes in their lives and achieve the success, that they desire. We believe in sharing our success and helping others to attain it as well. In sharing the same core values, and in offering opportunities for networking which will assist women in achieving their full potential, individually and as an organization; we are able to share in the gifts we have been given.
Power of Women Exchange does not necessarily advocate total feminist beliefs but rather offers a platform for women to grow as individuals and adopt their own way in the world.
Herstory
Everything started with The Power of Women Conference which was born out of an idea in 2004 by Lia Bandola and Tina Dezsi. The idea was to reach a larger audience of women and offer them a platform to empower themselves to change their lives.
The purpose of the Conference was to empower the participants to achieve all that they can be and create balance in their life to sustain their own successes. It was a day about women inspiring each other to reach for their dreams, achieve them and empower themselves to live their lives by their own ideas of success. The conference was such a success that it is now a yearly event in Celebration of International Women's Day.
It was through the success of the Conferences that Power Of Women Exchange was born. Women wanted the feeling, information and opportunity to support each other and their businesses to continue. The Power of Women Exchange is a group of amazing women entrepreneurs, executives and professionals dedicated to supporting each other in business and life. Through monthly Chapter meetings, the It's Your Life Magazine, speaking engagements and on-line information, Power of Women Exchange and its growing membership provide each other with tools, advice and support that allows women to continue on their journey. The members are the teachers - sharing ideas and knowledge with each other to educate and promote business growth.
What does the future hold?
The members are the reason this organization continues to grow. Like minded women are attracted to the organization to work together to create their own type of bonds.
